I bought these because the price was unbeatable and who wouldn't want to "calm" their child. However, I guess I am spoiled because I know what quality lavender fragrance smells like because these wipes have a disgusting chemical smell that even my baby turns his nose up at if I try to wipe his face. While they did the trick as far as cleaning, I would never buy these again because of the horrible stench.

I love these wipes. Not only do they smell great, but they actually work great too. They aren't too thick, aren't too thin. They aren't overly wet. I had tried these after using store brands and Huggies, and we haven't gone back. Huggies are okay, but they are so thick, they leave little "residue" behind. Not sure exactly how to explain it, but it's like little cloth balls. Not good for a baby girl. The Pampers are perfect and the price for these here on Amazon cannot be beat since there is no tax.

Other than the facts that these many tubs are not required, this is a great buy. However, Later I found buying a tub or 2 from walmart and then ordering bulk refills would have been a better option from home space utilization perspective.

When I usually buy wipes, it is with the tub. There is wrapped wipes inside. But in this packaging, there was tub and already opened wipes inside. Top of the wipes were dry and all 8 packages were the same. I would rather buy refills which is wrapped good, than bunch of tubs now. Not only that, maybe because it is Sensitive wipes, it doesn't clean well.

Check it out, and realize that if you are already planning to pay some shipping for something you want from amazon, this is completely worth it. Also note : some newborns have sensitive skin. I'm an adult and I use baby wipes. Why? Because no one wants a nasty butt. Believe me, try using baby wipes in addition to your regular toilet paper. You'll never go back to just toilet paper alone.



Anyways, on to the product review.



First, the packaging: There's the "pull up" tissue-box-type lid that snaps down, but it's impossible to close the lid with one hand and even when you do part of the wipe that's ready to be used next time is always sticking out.



Because part of that wipe is sticking out it acts as a wick so all the cleansing moisture from half or more that wipe dries out, depending on how long it is between when you use the wipes, which results in one wasted wipe. This means you have to pull that one out and throw it away then pull out another one to get the full effectiveness of a damp wipe, which means you only get half the use out of a pack of wipes.



Alternatively, you could open the top of the box, but that requires two hands, and then also you have to stick one hand into the box to hold down the wipe the wipe you're pulling out is attached to, which is unsanitary.



Maybe it's because I'm a guy but I find the packaging to be frustrating and counter-intuitive.



Next, the wipes themselves:



They don't seem to be any thicker or larger than the less expensive regular wipes. Twenty percent thicker? HOLY CRAP! What's twenty percent of one millimeter? That's .2 of a millimeter. That's the thickness of a layer of frost on your car windshield. So instead of 1 millimeter thick material you're getting 1.2 millimeter material. Is that worth a buck fifty to you?

Oddly enough, I had ordered the Easy-Ups for boys, as I have a boy, but was sent the Easy-Ups for girls. No matter. He's madly in love with Dora anyway and now gets to add a splash of pink to his wardrobe. I got the Easy-Ups because I'd been using standard diapers, but my boy has a habit of comforting himself a la Al Bundy: sticking his hand down his pants. While I got some strange looks and even had some teenagers trying to take pictures of him with their phone, I wasn't fazed. Diapers are half the price of these things, and he's nowhere near ready for potty-training. So there's this one day at the library, where there's a Roald Dahl-inspired celebration going on. We check out our books, and apparently, some books are marked as "winners." We checked out a winning book, and the librarian makes a fuss, shakes some maracas and announces loudly that we're winners, before handing my daughter a golden ticket and some chocolate bars. I turn to share my joy with my aforementioned son, and he's standing right behind me. In a puddle. He'd unfastened his diaper by shoving his hand down his pants, and now he'd left a puddle in the middle of the library's carpet right after the big noisemaking, attention-getting announcement that we'd won. I cleaned up the mess and then promptly came home to order Easy-Ups.



Short story: I've done all the homework and math. These cost exactly the same per Easy-Up as buying at a bulk club, except this way, they're delivered right to my door. Serenity Now.

These wipes are so handy and easy to pull from the package! I don't go anywhere without them. I leave a package in my diaper bag and a package in my car! The package seals so well that they can be left in the car for months and I don't worry about them drying out. I am especially fond of the scented ones because they leave my hands and my sons bottom smelling good. Not only do they smell good, they are soft and do well absorbing all the messes that babies present. These also work very well with Pampers Swaddlers. My 15 month old son weighs 25 pounds or so and was waking up wet every night with regular diapers. He sleeps about 10-12 hours a night.



I tried Huggies Overnites first, but discovered that they weren't absorbent enough. I tried sizes 4 and 5 with no luck. He was still wet every morning. Wetness would just soak right through the diaper material.



I tried Pampers Extra Protection next and they worked great! No leaks, no problems. They are also much softer and thinner than the Huggies, too. They seem to be much more comfortable. The tabs stay in place better, too.

We regularly use the Huggies Overnights and they work great. I just thought I'd try these out instead. Each time my son wakes up wearing this diaper in the morning he has completely soaked through. I would not recommend these diapers. We are now using them during the day as a regular diaper and they are fine for that. They do feel as though they are cheaply made, I tore one the other day trying to adjust the tab on the diaper.

My son has thankfully slept through the night for several months now, and the last thing in the entire world I want to do is wake him up for a diaper change (right moms?). I was using the same diapers in one size larger than during the day for the night, but we sometimes got poop leaks because the diapers were too big. So I decided to try these in hopes of less dirty clothes and unpleasant morning leaks. When I received them I worried there was no way that such thin diapers could handle all the night-time presents my son likes to give us in the morning. Overall, they do work pretty well. In fact, we haven't had a poop leak since we started using these. We have had two front side leaks but used to have much more than that- so they are better than our initial one size up solution. I was hoping for more, but I am pretty satisfied.

One is a large 2 year old, and the other is a small 5 year old, and the really convenient thing is that they BOTH wear size 5's. like another reviewer said, these are really weak along the sides. i was surprised when my 3yo kept saying his pants were falling down. well, his easy ups had ripped, and were sideways inside his pants, hanging by one leg. this has happened about 3 times in 30....not so great. on the other hand, these easyups are fairly cheap compared to competitors. i still don't think i'll buy them again. i'm disappointed by the quality, considering that this is a pampers product.

My son has been using Pampers diaper since he was born and we are both happy with the quality. However, this specific size of pull-up is not durable at all and very easy to tear at the sealing on the sides. It's not suitable toddlers under potty train, which requires pulling down and up the training pants often.
