With my newborn we were in two different hospital in the 1st two weeks of my sons life, and in both hospitals Pampers Swaddlers Newborn were used. In those first couple days those diapers were a life saver because they really did pull messes away from my sons delicate bottom. My son was too small for them at first so we had to roll the top of the diaper down so the diaper didn't rub on the umbilical cord, but once he grew into them the Umbilical Cord Notch was so handy when changing him because we didn't have to worry about rubbing. When we used these diapers we didn't experience one single explosion that the diaper couldn't handle.

I used Swaddlers because that's what they used at the hospital when we had our baby. They're very soft, don't leak, very absorbent. Your baby's skin will stay dry in these.



Someone convinced me that Huggies were better. So I tried them and boy was that a mistake. I went back to the Swaddlers after using one Huggies diaper.

We're using this diaper on our new born for about 10 days. 5 diapers out of 34 were broken open on the top and our baby had a lot of small stick cristals on his belly and around his parts. Last time he was crying very irritated and got calm only after removing all these cristals. It took me 5 minutes to remove all of them from the baby and from the his changing bed.

This is a big flaw on these diapers and I strongly recommend on looking for other products.

These were given to us a gift for our newborn. They appear like all other newborn diapers on the market, with the cutout for the umbilical cord, the back manufactured higher than the front to catch overflow and the two velcro-style catches on either side of the diaper to bind the diaper to the baby.



Unfortunately, we found this particular newborn diaper to not fit out daughter well, and the diaper leaked from a standard usage. We thought we put it on wrong (loose attachment of diaper, because we were in a hurry) so we redid the diaper, and the same thing happened with the next diaper change, and the next.



We think the back of the diaper was loose after placing it on our daughter, and the entire diaper just didn't seem to bind to our daughter well and had gaps. Our baby is about 7 pounds. Perhaps if you have a bigger baby, this diaper might offer a snugger fit.



I'd recommend Huggies brand instead. They were also given to us as a gift, and we never had any problems in the first weeks of her birth. We think Huggies are amazing and were very happy with that product.

I would highly recommend paying for this product from anyone other than DAB Nutrition. They provide terrible service and refuse to honor their own pricing. They canceled my order and many others for diapers without cause and brushed everyone off when contacted. Heard these were great diapers. They are. They're more expensive than Huggies but worth every penny. Every time I put my son in Huggies he leaked. Everywhere. Just think about how much more you spend in laundry and water? Only bad thing is the swaddlers only go to size 2. After that you go into either Pampers Baby Dry or Pampers Cruisers.

We bought these diapers to save some money. This is definetly a good deal. But beware if you expect them to be the same as what you can buy in a department store. They aren't as soft and don't have the webbing on the inside. Another thing to be aware of is that these diapers are size 1. They have a size difference on the box of only one pound. Size 1's go to 14 lbs and these go to 15. My 13 lb baby is already getting to big. So now we have to find another diaper for him to wear while in size 2. Keeping that in mind I won't go back to these diapers because they have a bad smell after the baby pees in them that the other diapers I have tried do not have. And for me that matters. I've actually discovered that I prefer the Target store brand diapers to these but Luvs will do in a pinch without breaking the bank.

My baby was just in the hospital for heart surgery and these are the diapers that they used on him except in a size 1. But they were identical to these. Apparently they intended to be are less absorbant than the ones you can buy in Walmart and that is why they don't have the mesh liner inside.

If you want a GREAT deal, go to Costco and buy the Kirkland brand diapers...they're made by the SAME FACTORY as the Pampers Swaddlers...a 248 count box costs 29.76...that's 12 cents/diaper!!!! They're the same product & the same great fit!!!!!!!!

Pampers never worked for my kids. They do not absorb as well as Huggies do. Huggies are thicker and fit baby better. And I am talkind about all huggies diapers. I have tryed few times pamplers diapers and wiped and I was not pleased at all. I bought them because I needed diapers quickly and a store close to my house carried only Pampers. They do not absorb well, they are thinner - that is why. Also if you feel comfortable puting someting on your child that was tested on animals - than do it, but animals experianced unnecessary long and painful death because the product (wipes) was tested on them. They are part of P&G. That is another reason not to buy Pampers.
